Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust is proud to present its Maternity Unit at the brand new Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. This facility combines state of the art equipment with dedicated medical professionals available 24 hours a day onsite to ensure that you and your baby remain healthy during your labour.

The Maternity Unit is where scans are performed for expectant mothers in the Trust’s care. This includes Nuchal Fold Screening which is an ultrasound that helps identify the presence of Down syndrome in a fetus.
